Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

My husband and I have visited the Lake Mary location 3-4 times and have enjoyed our meals there. So, when trying to determine what to grab for a quick bite on a Friday night, we decided to give the location in Altamonte Springs our business: they are a 5 minute drive from our house and we were eating a later dinner. The parking lot is crazy. There are several other businesses sharing the lot, including a Fresh Market and a sports bar. So, it was a bit hectic on a Friday night. After finding a spot, we headed into the restaurant. They had live music this night. A younger guy playing guitar and singing. It was nice, although a bit unexpected for the type of restaurant. The musician had a good voice though and, while the music was loud, it was not overly so. There were 5 people on line in front of us and only one person taking orders, processing payments, and pouring beer. So, yeah, stood in line a solid 10 minutes before they finally sent another employee to help out. Another 5 minutes and our order was taken. It was late and we were hungry, so we ordered a lot. BurgerFi cheeseburger on a bun, the same but green style (served on lettuce), chili cheese fries and chili cheese hot dog, and an order of fries topped with salt and vinegar. The order was to go and it was prepped pretty quickly, which was surprising considering the long line and wait time. But, kudos to the kitchen for getting the food out and ready to go! We bring our food home and, on the 5 minute drive, I noticed the stench of vinegar. The car smelled so strongly, that we needed to open the windows. We get the food out at home and discover that the container of vinegar was thrown in the bag upside down. It is all over the food, the bags, my husband, and the car. Greeeaaat. Burgers and the dog looked good though, so yay for that. Then I take out my "chili cheese" fries. I'd like to point out that I paid an extra $1.77 for the "toppings." My $1.77 got me a tablespoon of cold chili and a half teaspoon of orange gelatin with a piece of burned orange "cheese sauce" in it. Disgusting. The icing on the cake? My fries were cold and greasy. Not appetizing at all. The flavor of the burgers was good. They were both cold though and the bun on mine was soggy with BurgerFi sauce. My husband ate some of the chili cheese dog and didn't have much to say about it. Overall, very disappointing. The quality that we expected based on our visits to the Lake Mary restaurant was not seen in Altamonte Springs. The stench of vinegar is permeating my house and car. The final insult is those chili cheese fries. Ghastly.

The cashier, Jessica, was super friendly & welcoming. I got the Breakfast All Day Burger & it was amazing. If you're into sodas made with cane they have a good variety. The creme soda is my personal fav. The manager came around making sure everyone was doing ok, which was also nice.

My new go-to for burger/fries fare. The angus burgers and amazing fries are way above average and the atmosphere and staff have been great during each of our multiple visits. Worth every penny.

There is something here to please the whole family. Great burgers and dogs plus milkshakes and custard for the kids and beer for the adults. You place your order at the counter then take a seat and wait for your food- similar to several other quick casual burger places cropping up. The dining room is kind of uncomfortably sterile looking but you dine outside and enjoy views of the parking lot. Still, service is quick and friendly and the food pleases.

Hooray for a close by BurgerFi! I've been (not so) patiently waiting for this location to open up. It is only 2.8 miles away instead of the 8.2 miles away that the next closest location is. I arrived around 4:30 pm on their first day and was surprised to find a parking spot right out front. There were plenty of people there, but the parking situation is much better here than at the WP location. I only stood in line for maybe 2 minutes before I was able to place my order. There was an employee at the head of the line making sure that everyone got menus and were moving along. We talked some about their day and he made sure I had a menu to take home. I ordered a BurgerFi cheeseburger and Parmesan & Herb fries. I was told that it was taking about 12 minutes to get orders out and I got mine in 11 minutes. I was happy to learn that I could call in my order ahead of time. That will work out well when I want to swing by and pick something up on my way home. The location was very similar to the other location in WP, but MUCH bigger. The outside area is huge (used to be the drive-thru when it was a bank) and there is even a room inside that could be closed off. The counter to order is a great size and there is a place at one end to go if you are picking up a to-go order.

On days that there aren't many customers and the staff isn't swamped, then the food tastes delicious and they're attentive to detail. However, going there on a Friday or during the weekend you will probably get a sub-par experience as far as food and customer service goes. During their busy days, they always seem to be understaffed, and when there are lots of customers, the food tastes nothing like the quality they normally produce otherwise.

I've been twice now. For a burger place it's ok. I tried the quinoa burger this time which is their veggie burger, there were veggies in it but it's consistency was oily. The bun was ok. The onion rings and fries super greasy. So if you are in the mood for heavy food go for it.

Place has a valid argument for best burgers in the area. Service is always friendly. Excellent outdoor seating area. Wide variety of toppings so you can customize your burger. You can grab a beer or wine or order a soda from one of those fountain machines that has dozens of variety. My only problem stopping from a 5 star review is at times, and more often then not, it takes a really long time to get the food. Overall a great place though. I think once in a while they actually have music outside which is great.

I needed a quick bite to eat while visiting Altamonte Springs on a Sunday and to my dismay my beloved 4 Rivers was closed, so I opted to give this a shot. I ordered a cheeseburger wrapped in lettuce of course and my friend and I split a basket of onion rings/french fries and a banana shake. Factors that make this place awesome: grass fed burgers, 2 for 1 draft beers on Sundays (or anytime they have happy hour), delicious homemade burger fi sauce, and huge facility where they feature big screens to watch sports games on. Negatives: The onion rings were too fried for me; however, my biggest complaint was the shake. They serve the milkshake in a cup where the line of the top of the shake comes far below the size of the cup. I mentioned something to the staff and was told that was the corporate level. That being said, if that is the amount of shake BurgerFi wishes to serve, they need to reevaluate their cup size. I did complain about this and they did offer me a $10 voucher, which I thought was a nice and kind gesture to rectifying the problem- sometimes that says more about about a place than anything. Bottom line- Not the best burger, but an OK option if you need a quick bite to eat or desire an affordable option for large family.

Veggie burger, chocolate banana shake, regular burger and fries. What's not to like?!

  • Amber H.

Slow night so no excuse for simple errors. Didn't get my order right, the onion rings still had the peel within which made them impossible to eat. The manager didn't give a hoot about it. Never again.

The breakfast type burger is super, onion rings and custard are the best in the biz. Customer service is good too

The quality of the burger leaves much to be desired. I had tried the burgers in Lake Mary a year ago and a friend wanted to go here to try it out for the first time. The environment is very similar as the one in Lake Mary but they have converted the drive through of the bank in to an outdoor sitting area, which is cool. However the noise in the main area of the building is loud and I found it unpleasant. The fries were the same and overwhelming. They should actually call it Fries Fries Fries! It reminds me of "Hot Dog Heaven" out on Hwy 50. Too much people. Too much. While "5 Guys" over do the fries also, their burgers are way more beefy and tasty too. Though I believe "5 Guys" has too much salt in their meat and "Burger Fi" doesn't have that overwhelming saltiness. The burgers must be very fatty before they cooked them because I was left asking where the beef disappeared to; when I opened the bun there was a small disc of burned beef. The hamburger was OK tasting but I've had better. There was too much bread and it reminded me of the last time I was at Burger King (barf) because every thing else is there to cover up what you aren't getting. Over all if I had to eat here again I would but I find them more expensive and not as good quality. I give them one extra star because of the soda dispenser is really cool and has all my favorite drinks.

Always have a good experience at this burgerfi! The burgers are so good, and I love the outside seating area. Makes for a great place for lunch. They also make some awesome milkshakes!!

Great Burgers and Fries. My double cheese burger was as good as I have had lately. My companion had the house speciality - a double burger with cheese, lots of bacon, and a fried egg on top. Fantastic if your mouth is big enough to fit it in? Fries were with skin and terrific. I admire their charity. They regularly contribute 15% of your bill to Lake Brantley High School sports and clubs. BirgerFi is now my "go to" place for Burgers!

  • Matthew J.

This place rocks! Why? They have organic ketchup, no high fructose corn syrup! You have to ask for it. All their meat is hormone free! Love it. Great taste, better price than 5 Guys! Try it, you'll love it. Also just tried their custard, unbelievably good!

Burgers are always yummy. You get so many fries it's good to have a friend with you to share even a regular order.

First time eating at burgerfi. This location was big, had TV's, and a great layout. Burger was amazing, was impressed that burgers were grass fed and all! They actually iron pressed the logo in the burger which was neat. I've been there three more times since I first visited, it's that good. Prices were very fair considering the quality of the food. Get the brisket burger, urban fries, or the red velvet custard. Those are all my favorites and they are to die for, they are now why I am HOOKED to this place!!

Short but sweet review: good food, as far as burgers and dogs go... Maybe a tad pricey for the amount of food...but definitely worth stopping in to see and taste for yourself...

I've been waiting for a BurgerFi to open up in my area and now that it's here...meh. Honestly, while they have endless options of burgers, they really are just okay. Nothing fancy. No tricks. Just decent tasting burgers with toppings. The only exception would be the quinoa burger, which, is incredibly unique and yummy. The fries are good (not amazing) and you get a lot for what you're paying but I guess I just expected more. They seem to plug the whole "natural" plug quite a bit but I don't see how it is translated on the menu. You can "green style" up your burgers by picking lettuce over bread but um...okay. Venue-wise, it seems a bit crowded and cluttered but the outside patio is nice on a day that it's not sweltering. I don't know. I like this place but it doesn't wow me in terms of taste and if I'm spending almost $12 on a burger, fries and a drink, I want something memorable. Now their Concrete is pretty darn fantastic if I feel like not caring about a diet. They are huge, super smooth and decadent and are worth the price.

Pretty poor attempted Five Guys knock-off with beer. Poor second to Five Guys. Poor service from waiting for order to be taken to completion. Trash cans full. Tables dirty. Limited seating. So, if you need beer with your burger give it a shot. Otherwise, stick to the original.

We went on a Tuesday and they had someone playing acoustic guitar and song by request on the patio. It was very relaxing and definitely will be somewhere to return to

First time here, my wife had a burger and onion rings that were HUGE! I had the all day breakfast burger. I will tell you that everything was perfectly cooked, Loved the All Day burger, was a little concerned about the maple syrup on it as it could make it too sweet. It didn't, there was a hit of it with perfectly cooked bacon and egg. The potatoes were not overwhelming either. Overall a perfect place, nice people and perfectly clean.

Burgers are fantastic, a bit pricey but worth every penny. Two for one on craft beers make this spot a go to. The service was wonderful tonight, Chris explained the menu to us and Chelsea made us feel incredibly welcome! Coming from someone in the hospitality industry, the crew at this location is fantastic!

Looked on yelp and found this place. It only had three stars, but I liked what most people had to say so we gave it a try. I love the decor in the restaurant. Very unique with a fun atmosphere. The menu was awesome and the "secret menu" is a cool twist. You must try the Parmesan fries- DELICIOUS! I have never seen onion rings so large, but I do wish they provided something to use as a plate to cut the rings on. One of the reasons they only got four stars from me. The burgers were great and the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms could have been a little more clean, but everything else seemed well cared for. The fact they have good wine and Veuve Clicquot champagne made me very happy! If these ever open in Phoenix, I will be sure to visit again!

the burgers are great. just like in and out in cali but these are the best fries and real onion rings you can find anywhere. the sauce is good too and price is a little more than regular fast food burger joints. worth the difference in price

I've visited Burger Fi in Winter Park and Lake Mary and enjoyed my food and service in the past, however I went to the location on 434 in Altamonte a few moments ago and it was horrendous. We ordered 2 breakfast all day burgers and a cry and fry. The burger was meh with soggy hash browns, but the real disappointment was the cray and fry. Usually the onion rings are my favorite part as they are nice thick slices of onion however when my companion bit into one he couldn't eat it as the onion peel was still on it! To make matters worse of the three onion rings in the cry and fry 2 of them had this problem. Also in the fries was a full end of a potato 3 inches long and 2 inches wide! When we bring this to the managers attention he proceeds to say that the kitchen staff are "slipping" and that he was going to show them and walked away. When my companion went to the counter to get his second round of beer (it was bogo special for drafts) the same manager tried to up sell him another round of beer. Now I'm not looking for a free ride but I find it insane that this manager didn't offer to give us another cry and fry or credit it, or anything. I will not be going back.

Everybody sing-a-long, "Grease is the word, is the word, ..." I guess being eco-friendly does not mean having to be healthy. The order of fries and huge onion rings was dripping, literally dripping, oil all over the place. Then as you start to enjoy your minimal-sized burger overflowing with toppings, you have a huge mess with the whole thing falling apart and no proper place to put it except for napkins that you'll quickly arrange into a make-shift plate. For this privilege, you'll pay a premium over what others might charge for full service (those places that give you a plate and utensils and treat you as a human). But hey, you're saving the environment eating here while clogging your arteries. Oh, you also get shot-glass sized cups for $2.77 along with the privilege of waiting on another line for the fancy soda machine (where many flavors where out on the night we went). There are some good things about the place...the decor is nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, outdoor seating is nice. But as Longwood / Altamonte suddenly has many burger options within a mile; Grafitti Junktion, Mulligans, Hurricanes, RG Brewski and now BurgerFi, we doubt we'll be going back much. Hopefully the next business opening in the area will actually be a Chick-Fil-A or a Dunkin Donuts...we always get excited when we hear those rumors, and then the let down when we see what it really is. 5-30-14 Update We tried it again, this time sitting outside. There was only the slightest breeze, but it was a battle to hold on to makeshift paper towel plate and small wrapper for burger to keep from blowing away. A simple cardboard boat for the burger would go a long way. Just not an enjoyable dining experience.

After losing 25 lbs I decided I wanted to treat myself to a nice juicy burger. Having never been here I thought why not. The atmosphere was pretty neat, and had these cool oversized fans. It made it a little chilly, but no big deal. I ordered my burger and fries. The burger was amazing. The fries were enough to feed 4 people. I also loved the coke machine. Being a diet coke lover, it was nice to have several options in that category. It was well worth the cheat meal!

  • Marsha W.

Why did I bother to try this one? The food is not much better than any ordinary fast food joint. The onion rings are big but not enough and the price is too high for what you get. I didn't like the atmosphere. I also did not like someone sitting at a table looking like a patron when she was actually an employee eavesdropping on customer comments. I also was less than impressed with a corner table occupied by management in what seemed to be the counseling of an employee out in the open, not professional at all. I won't go back to this one. There is no table service, you go to a counter to order and then get a buzzer that tells you your food awaits. No cup for the bottled root beer, no utensils to speak of and uncomfortable chairs. We are foodies and have had burgers in some of the best places in this country. Burger Fi will never make our top ten. Burger Fi could take some lessons from ZinBurger, one of our all time favs. I have to wonder if new places like this ever try the competition anywhere before they open a new" trendy" joint and expect the crowd to come .......

Burgers

Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
